Cats need water just as much as humans do. Water helps regulate the body of both animals and people. As a result of consuming water, cats urinate as well. Urinating also assists with regulating the body of both animals and humans. There will be times when a cat urinates somewhere else other than their litter box. Body odor, bad breath odor, sweat, and foot odor may all be horrible. However, cat urine smell can potentially be more worse. Don’t fret if your cat(s) urinate on furniture or on the floor, because there are ways to get rid of cat urine smell.
Paper Towel The Area

Vinegar is notorious for being a universal cleaning agent and neutralizing various types of odors. After blotting the cat urine stain as much as possible, apply a mixture containing 3 parts of vinegar and 1 part of water. Pour a good amount onto the stain. Don’t apply an excessive amount. Allow the mixture to dry so that it works into the stain and neutralizes the cat urine smell.
Baking Soda
Baking soda has a reputation for being a universal cleaning agent as well, and an odor neutralizer. When combined with hydrogen peroxide (kills odor-producing bacteria) and dishwashing liquid, you have a powerful weapon against cat urine smell. First, pour a good amount of baking soda onto the cat urine stain. Next, combine 3/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide with 1 tablespoon of dishwashing liquid. Carefully pour the concoction onto the baking soda. Stir carefully with a spoon. Allow the area to dry. Vacuum the area once it’s appropriately dry to do so.
Repeat these tips as needed. Although getting rid of cat urine smell may be a tedious task, it’ll all be worth it in the end. If cat urine gets on clothes, then add 60 ml of apple cidar vinegar to your laundry after adding laundry detergent. Do another cycle if necessary.
