Parasitic worms get into your system through undercooked meat, unwashed hands after using the bathroom, or contact with feces. They’re not the harmless soil-aerating worms you dig up in your garden. These ones give you vomiting, diarrhea, and a general sense that something’s very wrong inside you.
Here’s how to deal with them.
1. Be Wary Of Your Pets
Dogs lick their own butts, then lick your face. Cats bury their waste in a box and walk around your countertops. Some pets even eat feces as a hobby.
Don’t let your dog lick your face. Wash your hands after petting any animal. Yeah, they’re cute, but they’re also walking vectors for parasites.

2. Visit A Doctor
Constant vomiting and diarrhea aren’t normal. Get a physical exam. The doctor might do a tape test (adhesive tape pressed to your anus, then examined under a microscope for eggs). If they don’t bring it up, ask for it. Better to know than to keep guessing.
3. Medicinal Drugs
Anti-parasitic drugs kill worms. That’s what they’re made for. Follow the dosage on the label exactly.
Can’t get to a doctor? Add raw garlic cloves and a whole tomato to your daily diet. Not a cure, but it makes your gut less hospitable. Keep your kitchen counters sanitized while you’re at it.
